Seraph of the end: Manga and Anime

Today we will be talking about the wonderful anime/manga Seraph of the End.

Of course, since this is half reviewing, there will be spoilers.

So read at your own risk.

Also, mind you, this is my first blog I have ever done. Please tell me any tips or anything I could've done better or wrong.

Okay, let us start. Seraph of the End. The title. Basically it translates to --> Angel of Death. So here are the three names for it, Owari no Seraph, Seraph of the end, or Angel of Death.

Now, there is another anime, very old, which is called Angel of Death. But because Seraph of the End doesn't directly translate to Angel of Death it was acceptable.

Seraph of the End is about this boy, Yuu. He used to live in an orphanage with some other kids because his father had called him a demon spawn and his mother killed herself. Tragic isn't it?

He goes to this orphanage and meets people who are his new 'family' apparently. And if you don't like a little cheesiness here and there, you won't like this manga/anime. I, for one am able to overlook these flaws of cheesiness only for one reason: This manga/anime is as nice as... Well, has the potential to become as popular as some other anime. Such as Code Geass.

At the time I am blogging this, the first season has already come out and the second season's first episode is supposed to come out tomorrow... Or later today. I don't know. Just soon.

The art, is amazing. At some times, a little rough. But it's only slight. EXTREMELY slight. And I don't use caps often.

Here is the plot:

One day, a mysterious virus appeared on Earth which killed every infected human over the age of 13. At the same time, vampires emerged from the world's dark recesses and enslaved mankind. Enter Hyakuya Yuuichirou, a young boy, who along with the rest of the children from his orphanage, are treated as livestock by the vampires. Even in captivity, Yuuichirou dreams big. He dreams of killing vampires. He dreams of killing them all.

Now, if that isn't enough. Here are the spoilers that will make you trigger happy to read/watch Seraph of the End.

Yuu:

-Experimented on as a project called Seraph of the End

-Is already 10% non-human

-Apparently already dead too, but revived himself... Somehow. In theory (Yuu's and his demon's theory) they believe it's because of the 10% that isn't human

-Angels are more tricky and evil than demons apparently

-His 'dead' friend becomes a vampire...

-He's made a contract with a demon who is a sword and the demon is who tells him all this information

-He once looses control of himself and the white of his eyes turned black and his pupil turned purple and a gigantic black wing made of blood comes out of his back. He keeps on saying, 'Sinners must pay, must die. I must kill sinners. All sinners...' And goes on a killing spree

-His parents called him a 'demon child' and his mother killed herself because of him for reason's that haven't been explained yet

If that doesn't convince you then I don't know what will...
